The ride is smooth, very spacious on the inside, great gas mileage, good sound system, spacious trunk, I’m very happy with my Avenger. Boasts 30 Highway MPG and 21 City MPG This Dodge Avenger boasts a Regular Unleaded I-4 2.4 L/144 engine powering this Automatic transmission. The only thing I would do differently is the sound of the engine, it’s a little too loud for a 4 cylinder, other than that I love it. I traded in my 2003 F150 for the Avenger, and I’m glad I did it. I just a bought a 2008 Dodge Avenger base model, and I absolutely love it. The car shifts (automatic) a little hard, but overall I am very happy with it. I ran it to 425 miles on one tank of gas and finally filled up as I got worried I would not make it to the next town. For a car of this size, I am very suprised it even does better than an 03 Kia Spectra I used to have.
